There is still time to enjoy Evenings by the Bay Summer concert series at the Monterey Bay Aquarium. Saturday and Sunday evenings from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. at the Aquarium’s Marine Mammal Gallery through September 4, 2011, the concert series features some of the Monterey Peninsula’s most talented professional musicians, as well as student musicians in the Monterey Jazz Festival’s Education Programs. The “Evenings by the Bay” series provides a much-needed outlet for live music, and enhanced value and entertainment for Aquarium visitors, already an internationally-renowned destination for all ages. All concerts are included with admission to the Aquarium.

The 2011 Concert Series will feature saxophonists Roger Eddy, Gary Meek and Stu Reynolds; trumpeter Dave Hoffman; pianists Bill Spencer and Eddie Mendenhall; bassist Pete Lips; drummer Kim Edmundson, flautist Kenny Stahl, the Monterey Bay Jazz Orchestra, and hand-selected students from the Monterey Jazz Festival’s Education Programs will also perform.
