Bach worldwide by immersing audiences in a festival experience integrating music, education, and ideas. Performances may be seen at 14 different locations throughout the scenic Monterey Peninsula including Monterey's San Carlos Cathedral. Completed in 1794, the Cathedral is the oldest continually functioning church and first stone building in the state of California, and is one of the state’s exceptional historic monuments. On Thursday, July 21, 2011 see recording star and baroque specialist in song and opera, countertenor Daniel Taylor sings favorite Handel arias accompanied by a baroque string ensemble.
