In its 65th season, the annual Monterey Jazz Festival comes back to California's central coast for three days of jazz music and merrymaking. Experience the longest continuously-running jazz festival in the world on the oak-studded Monterey County Fairgrounds in Monterey, California.

Since 1958, Monterey Jazz Festival has been celebrating America's creativity and cultural heritage by presenting legendary jazz musicians, composers, and rising stars. MJF 65 keeps this tradition alive, September 23-25, 2022, presenting hundreds of artists on four outdoor stages.

Getting to the Monterey Jazz Festival

Just a 10-minute drive from the festival, Monterey Regional Airport offers non-stop flights from six major cities. San Francisco, Oakland, and San Jose airports are within a two-hour drive. If you are driving, you can park in the lot at the Monterey Peninsula College. The parking lot for the 2022 festival opens 30 minutes prior to gate opening times each day. Your parking ticket must be shown to ride the MST shuttle to the festival grounds.

If you don't purchase parking, we recommend taking a local rideshare like Uber and Lyft from your hotel to avoid limited parking and crowds.
