The holiday music performances kick off Friday, November 30th at the Sunset Center in Carmel by the Sea with the Blind Boys of Alabama Holiday Show. Winner of five Grammy Awards, The Blind Boys have earned praise for their remarkable interpretations of everything from traditional gospel favorites to contemporary spiritual material. Their show will feature holiday favorites to get the whole family in a festive mood! The Bay Area Smuin Ballet returns to the Center to perform their Holiday Ballet on Friday, December 7^th and Saturday, December 8^th.Described as an ever-changing carousel of mischief and elegance, The Christmas Ballet is a perfect gift for audiences of all ages. An all-time winter classic, the Nutcracker, presented by Dance Kids of Monterey County will take the stage December 14 – 16 with several evening and one matinee performance. Finally, a festive 120-person chorus made up of both amateur and professional singers, Monterey Peninsula Voices will present the Sounds of the Season will delight audiences December 18th.
