Get ready for High Tides and Carnival Rides at the annual Monterey County Fair, August 29th through September 2nd. The fair features over 30 carnival rides and plenty of entertainment. The 2019 opening night show, Mitchell Tenpenny, will perform Thursday night on the Peyton stage. Throughout the week and weekend catch hypnotist, Tia Marie, pony rides, and lots more family fun.
Learn all about life on the farm in the livestock area. Cows, pigs, sheep, steers, rabbits, goats and more are in the livestock area for judging and display during the Fair. Fairgoers are welcome in the barns at all times. August 29th all rides are $1.
Fair parking is available for $12 Thursday through Saturday at Monterey Pines Golf Course. Saturday through Monday you can park at Monterey Peninsula College for $8 and transportation to the fairgrounds is free from Monterey Salinas Transit.
