Christmas in the Adobes celebration takes place Friday, December 7th and Saturday, December 8th, 5:00 – 9:00 PM. Bundle up for an evening stroll through the streets of Historic Monterey. Tour 19th Century adobes guided by docents in period costumes. Music, games and refreshments will be found throughout the tour.
Stroll thought the streets of Historic Downtown Monterey and visit 19th C. adobes for fandango dance lessons at Custom House, or bagpipes and cookies at Robert Louis Stevenson House. Refreshments, games history and fun await the entire family during Monterey's signature holiday event.
Some of the adobes that will be open include the Cooper Molera Adobe, Larkin House, Old Whaling Station, Casa Soberanes, Robert Louis Stevenson House, and the recently restored Royal Presidio Chapel/San Carlos Cathedral. For a complete list of adobes and ticket information, click here.
