Celebrate Monterey Peninsula's New BLUE Ocean Film Festival & Summit with a Wave of Hotel Deals Augu
BLUE Ocean Film Festival, August 23rd – 29th, is a global film festival and conservation summit for underwater filmmakers and marine researchers. This community festival will share the film competition’s best work with the public and will include presentations from the filmmakers and scientists who created them. Following the festival, a selection of winning films will tour the world, giving a broader audience access to these great films and a chance to learn more about our oceans.
The goal of BLUE Ocean Film Festival is to share insights on what is happening in our oceans, and to provide tangible ways people can make a difference.
Combining an educational getaway with a wave of hotel deals and liquid excursions makes extending the summer as easy as a spray-on tan. From stand up paddle board lessons to a stint at sea kayaking, ocean-view hikes and coastal biking, this region is at its best in late summer.
