Monterey 250 Mosaic Community Celebration 1 - 4 pm San Carlos Beach/Park Director/Playwright - Harriet Lynn - Being that it is Monterey's 250th birthday the City of Monterey is celebrating on June 3, 2020 actual Founding Day: June 3, 1770) with a community celebration inspired by the 1984 ceramic tile mural by artist Guillermo Wagner Granizo. This pictorial mosaic depicts much of the area's history, people and events and installed on the outside rear wall of the Monterey Conference Center.
