The delegation, visiting through the Monterey Peninsula-Nanao Friendship Association, will include Japan’s most well established travel industry leaders as well as second- and third-generation hoteliers who are poised to take over businesses established by their families.
Among the high-profile guests is Mr. Sadahiko Oda, chairman of Kagaya Hotels Group and the Federation of JTB-Affiliated Hotels & Ryokans, plus executives, managers, corporate planners and public relations professionals from the country’s leading hotels. During its two-day stop in Monterey, the group will attend tours, receptions and presentations hosted by Monterey Mayor Chuck Della Sala and local tourism professionals. “Monterey is a destination known worldwide for its scenic beauty and its hospitality,” said Mayor Della Sala. “We are honored to welcome this distinguished delegation from our sister City of Nanao.”
