Allegiant Air announced new nonstop service from Los Angeles and San Diego to the Monterey Peninsula Airport. The new flights from Los Angeles will operate three times weekly, with service Sunday, Tuesday and Thursday beginning May 3. The San Diego flights will also operate three times a week, also on Sunday, Tuesday and Thursday. To celebrate the launch, the air carrier will offer introductory fares as low as $39 each way.
