Rocker Dave Mason feels alright and comedian Craig Ferguson splits sides in Monterey
On February 6, don’t miss the one night performance of Rock and Roll Hall of Famer Dave Mason at the Sunset Center. A founding member of the legendary band Traffic, Mason is loved as a singer-song writer and guitarist. His song Feelin' Alright became an anthem, recorded by over 48 artists. Mason has played and recorded with icons of the music industry including Jimi Hendrix, The Rolling Stones and Eric Clapton. Just a week later, February 12, comedian Craig Ferguson storms the Sunset Center with his wildly funny comedy show. Ferguson made his breakthrough on The Drew Carey Show as Mr. Wick. He also wrote and starred in three films, The Big Tease (1999), Saving Grace (2000), and I'll Be there (2003) - winning the Audience Award for Best Film at the Aspen, Dallas and Valencia Film Festivals. Ferguson obtained his US Citizenship on February 1, 2008, and chronicles his memoirs in a book entitled American on Purpose: The Improbable Adventures of an Unlikely Patriot.
Carmel’s Sunset Center has been presenting the best dance, music and comedy performances for more than 70 years. This new decade promises even more. For a complete schedule and tickets, please visit http://www.sunsetcenter.org/eventscalendar.jsp
