Placing an emphasis on community and our commitment to education the Inns of Monterey are proud to participate in the sixth year of partnering with the Monterey Jazz Festival to support jazz education through year-round programs including MJF in the Schools, the Next Generation Jazz Festival, and the Summer Jazz Camp reaching 3,000 students annually in Monterey County, nationally, and internationally. In its 59th year the Monterey Jazz Festival, voted “World’s Best Jazz Festival” by JazzTimes Magazine, has been a leader providing opportunities to experience jazz since 1958 through educational programs and performances including the most renowned artists. Taking place September 16 – 18, 2016 at the Monterey County Fairgrounds, this year brings over 500 artists on 8 stages. With a lineup including acclaimed Grammy Winners, Cecile McLorin Salvant and Gregory Porter, tickets are sure to go quickly.
